MANAGER

A chiropractor born and raised in Sydney. Steven has been in the healthcare industry for more than 10 years. Initially receiving his Diploma of Remedial Massage; he then went on to complete a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science and concluded with a Master of Clinical Chiropractic at Macquarie University.

Following his time in University, Steven had developed a keen interest in functional neurology and rehabilitation, which allows him to now integrate a brain-based approach to aid in addressing the various types of complex issues clients are presenting with.

Steven is passionate across a range of sports from basketball, swimming, martial arts, rock climbing to strength training. This strong interest has meant he has had his fair share of injuries, so Steven understands the physical as well as the emotional and/or mental challenges involved with recovery.

He believes in educating patients through the process and applying an integrative approach to therapy via hands on modalities and personalised movement strategies. This will lead past obstacles that have been limiting, allowing his patients to be pain free and performing at their peak.

Outside of the clinic, Steven enjoys spending time with his family especially his baby niece with hopes of starting a family of his own in the near future. He is an avid foodie amongst the Sydney food scene and a huge basketball fan being involved with all things fantasy, podcasts as well as local sporting competitions.

Ron has been a Healthcare Practitioner for over 22 years and is an experienced massage, movement and breathwork therapist. He is passionate about empowering others to live their life with focus as creative warriors and the ability to empower others in that.

His areas of interest include any acute and/or chronic musculoskeletal injuries, pain and discomfort arising from postural or mechanical dysfunction, especially neck, shoulder and low back pain, headaches and migraines, anxiety, breathing difficulties and mental health.

Most sessions will include some form of assessment to understand the underlying cause, with a special interest in functional neurology, manual muscle testing, breathing patterns and movement screens. This is followed up by an integrative treatment plan, with a strong focus on therapeutic education. This keeps the client accountable and part of the healing process.

Outside of Motus, Ron works as a personal trainer for fun, and contributes to a weekly podcast. He loves sleeping at the beach or walking in the bush. He also likes to keep fit (most of the time), enjoys cooking for family and good friends and totally adores his beautiful wife and his beloved cats.

Michaela was born and raised in Sydney. She has completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Human Structure & Function) degree and now studying a Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University.

Her interest in the human body, its functions and abilities stem from a young age participating in various sports – swimming, athletics, gymnastics & pursuing a passion for dance since the age of 4. Michaela danced for 14 years and had the opportunity to travel internationally to compete and perform. With early exposure to treatment and rehab after several encounters with injuries from dancing, her passion for helping others lead her to pursue a career in the field.

Michaela is compassionate, hard working, inspired & positive. You’ll find her at front of house, ensuring your experience at Motus is memorable.

Outside of the clinic, Michaela spends quality time with family, enjoys indulging at nice restaurantsand loves to be outdoors at the beach or on the water.
